| To try to combat a recent trend of teams making an excessive number of reservations for their own show, UCB is implementing a new policy for CageMatch reservations:
"Competing CageMatch teams cannot make reservations for their own show. They are competing. Their fans need to make their own reservations. Additionally, all reservations must arrive together. So if a team makes a reservation under a fake name for 10 people and one person shows up to claim a ticket from that reservation, even if they don't buy all 10 tickets, that reservation will be dead. So anyone else who shows up trying to claim the same reservation will have to go to the stand-by line. If 10 people do show up together, then that's just fine with us." |
